Stefania + Lee

September 7th 2018

We are thrilled to share that we are tying the knot this September in Montauk! Montauk is one of our favorite places on earth – out on what feels like the edge of the world, it’s where we met, where we spent our first weekend trip as a couple, and where we have made many memories over the past five years. We hope you’ll join us to celebrate in this special place on September 7th weekend!

- Stefania + Lee

The Couple

Stefania & Lee

Also known as ‘Stefanlee,’ we met almost six years ago as the result of mutual friends coming together and inadvertently ‘setting us up.’ :) It was an impromptu weekend in the Hamptons. We met and had an instant connection. Lee claimed he wasn’t into pizza and ate gluten free all weekend so that he could share meals with Stefania (who knew he actually loves pizza!). We came back to the city and after our first few dates we were hooked. These days, you can still find us eating gluten free, wearing matching outfits (grey/black only plz), or dancing to Whitney Houston while getting ready in the morning.

If you’re staying in Montauk before or after the wedding festivities, or if you’re looking to explore during the days, here are some things to consider doing! (For more recommendations on what to do, reach out to Stefania directly)

EAT / DRINK / DO

EAT

Joni's

34 S Etna Avenue
Montauk, NY

A must-stop for Montauk’s surfers, Joni Brosnan’s shop serves up healthy sandwiches, salads, smoothies, the popular protein-rich breakfast wraps, and more.

EAT

The Lobster Roll

1980 Montauk Hwy
Amagansett, NY

There are lobster rolls and then there are LUNCH lobster rolls. Not only is this the best lobster roll in The Hamptons, it’s the best in the whole state of New York. True, Lunch’s roll is not for the purists out there – it’s mayo heavy, has a lot of chopped up other stuff in the lobster salad, and can sometimes can be hit or miss. But goddamn, a good overflowing LUNCH cold roll could be our last meal on earth.

EAT

The Crow's Nest

4 Old W. Lake Dr., Montauk
Montauk, NY

Go to the Crow’s Nest’s restaurant for the incredible atmosphere. Indoors, the vibe is an eclectic mix of design pieces that still feels thoroughly Hamptons—whiteboard walls are decorated with earthy mud cloths and pirate flags, and Mediterranean mezze platters and hearty salads are served on warm wooden boards. If possible, book a table on their outdoor patio or—better yet—on the lawn, where four-tops are situated under elegant wooden cabanas.

EAT

West Lake Fish House

352 Westlake Dr., Montauk
Montauk, NY

In the same vein as many old-school Montauk establishments, this relative newcomer offers a particular brand of no-frills dockside dining with a modernized menu, making it a nice antidote to the traditional Hamptons scene. Whether you go for lunch or dinner, the pull is the fresh fish, from very good, very well-priced sushi to fish tacos to the swordfish BLT.

EAT

South Edison

17 S Edison
Montauk, NY

This lively seafood restaurant is two blocks away from the ocean and consistently putting out some of the best restaurant food on the East End. The menu is loaded with exciting seafood, but there are also plenty of other land-dwelling animals to eat too. The great wine list, solid local beer selection, and a Bloody Mary with a crab claw sticking out of it also keep us coming back.

EAT

Navy Beach

16 Navy Rd
Montauk, NY

Since this is right on the beach, it’s perfect for families: The kids can run free while you put down a beer and some fish tacos.

Travel

Fly

If you’re flying in, JFK airport is your best bet. You’ll be able to easily get onto the Long Island Railroad from JFK. Or if you’re hopping into a car, you’ll already be positioned to head in a straight line to Montauk.

Find Flights

Drive

We recommend using the ole Google Maps to figure out the best route from your departure location. Just keep in mind that the later in the day you plan to travel, you’ll want to consider time for more cars being on the road.

Find Directions

Train

Hop on the Long Island Railroad to Montauk from either Jamaica Station (if you’re coming from JFK airport) or from Penn Station (if you’re coming from the city). Trains are approximately 3 hours from JFK airport via AirTrain.
